A Project Plan is an AI content section that lays out the stages and steps of a project with your client. AI writes it from your calls, notes and documents, you review and refine the draft, and then you add it to the Room as a Next Steps section.
Prerequisites & Requirements
Device: a Project Plan can be generated on desktop only. AI content sections are not supported on mobile.

How do I create a Project Plan?
To create a Project Plan:
In your Room, click Add Section (+), open the AI sections tab and click Project Plan. A drawer opens.
Add your sources: free text, PDF files, Library files or Gong recordings. The limits for each source are listed in AI-Generated Content.
Set Client Type and Length.
Click Generate, review the draft, and click Refine if you want changes.
Click Add to room.
Which sources and settings work best for a Project Plan?
A Project Plan is strongest when it is built from the scope and timeline you agreed with the client. We recommend adding the calls and documents where the project's stages and deliverables were discussed.
After you add the Project Plan
The Project Plan is added to the Room as a Next Steps section, with stage names and steps only. Add owners and due dates to the steps in the Room; see Next Steps section: Create tasks, due dates, and owners in a Room.
You can edit the Project Plan in the Room like any other section, and you can save it in a Template for future deals. It is no longer connected to the generator, so to regenerate it, create a new Project Plan.

Troubleshooting & FAQ
Why does my Project Plan have no owners or due dates?
A Project Plan is generated with stage names and steps only. Add owners and due dates to each step in the Room after you add the section.
Will my client see the Project Plan before I add it to the Room?
No. Your client sees the Project Plan only after you click Add to room, and never sees the generator or your sources.
Can I create a Project Plan on my phone?
No. AI content sections, including Project Plan, are not supported on mobile. Generate the Project Plan on desktop.
